The permutations of a\nSudoku puzzle were employed in order to create structural cohesion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">I&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <em>The dissonance of a major chord<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">The chords sounding at the beginning of this movement recur intermittently\nthroughout the sonata. Here major chords, treated as dissonances, are\njuxtaposed with dissonant chords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">II&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <em>One color fits all<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">A single texture dominates this movement, providing a contrast to\nthe other three movements, which consist of more extreme changes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">III&nbsp;&nbsp; <em>A pianist warms up before a concert while her dog walks on a wooden\nfloor<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">Tootie, a dog from South Africa, clicks with her claws on the wooden\nfloor while the pianist warms up before the concert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">IV&nbsp;&nbsp; <em>It\u2019s only a rondo, but maybe it isn\u2019t<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">This movement is characterized by stark contrasts.
